Feature Set:  

Paragon Drive Backup lets you schedule regular backups at startup or logon, or on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. This program can also format or delete a drive. This is ideal when creating an exact copy of your drive, because you must format the receiving drive before copying.

Basically, this disk imaging software has nearly every feature we were looking for, from incremental backup to partitioning to script creation. We did not see that it has multicast deployment, however, they do offer a server technician edition for unlimited machines for $799.

Ease of Use:  

Paragon Drive Backup has a variety of easy to use wizards that can guide your though complex tasks like backing up a disk or partition, scheduling backups, backing up files, restoring disks or partitions and restoring files. Considering how confusing and difficult disk imaging can be, this product is unexpectedly easy to use.

Backup/Restore Process:  

During the testing stage, we also attempted to create a backup image to a local drive, network drive, and a CD-ROM. Drive Backup did well creating a backup image of our C: drive to a network drive and a local drive. This software can also back up to portable drives and Blu-ray disks. In addition, it can be used to easily create restore disks, including those needed to restart a non-bootable system.

Help/Support:  

Paragon Drive Backup offers a knowledgebase online, email support, and a phone contact number, but it is an international call. The help file provided with Drive Backup allows you to view general help files and search for a particular word or phrase. Online they have a knowledgebase, updates and a community forum. More advanced (and responsive) support options are offered for a yearly fee.

Paragon Drive Backup is a complete disk imaging tool for backing up to another drive, network, or storage media. The program is also designed to configure and upgrade your data to a new drive. We like that they have made their product easier to use and that they offer a free home version and trial downloads so you can try out the software risk free.
